Day 2

Woke up with sore calves primarily, quads were not sore. It was a pretty windy day and the first 10 miles on the bike where not easy, however this made the ride back much easier, but we had to compensate for our slow beginning to increase our average. Sprinted a mile immediately after returning which we though we'd run slow, but as it turned out after getting off a fast bike, it's hard to judge your pace. Got in a good lunch and took a nap. Really didn't want to run again, but knew we needed to. Set off to run a slow to moderate pace and ended up going a little faster than expected. I think we need to start running a little more as we are running less than we'll be doing and biking more.

Pace: 18 MPH

Run: 1.33 miles
Time: 7:39 min
1 Mile Pace: 5:45 min

Run: 3 miles
Time: 18:24 min
1 Mile Pace: 6:08 min
